IPA Personnel Information
Leadership Group
In collaboration with the NGO Representative, the IPA Networker
and the Justice Contact Persons, the Leadership Group:
- carries forth the vision and purpose of IPA until the next Assembly
- carries out the legal and financial obligations of the IPA.
NGO
Representative
Sharon Altendorf PBVM, as
the NGO Representative, is an executive officer of the IPA and is
responsible for the implementation of Assembly purposes in reference
to her work at the United Nations. Her main task is that of meaningful
presence at the UN. (See UN Connections)
IPA
Networker
Marlette Black PBVM,
as the IPA Networker, is an executive officer of the IPA and is
responsible for the implementation of Assembly purposes and tasks
agreed upon by the Leadership Group. Her primary role is to gather
"stories" of what is happening re global justice in
different places around the world, especially those stories around
the IPA focus, and to connect Justice Contacts around the "stories".
Justice Contact Persons
A Justice Contact Person is named for each Congregation, Province,
Vice Province, Region or Unit by the Congregational Leader. The
role of the Justice Contact Person is to:
- animate her congregation in the work of justice
- maintain on-going communication with the Networker and other
JCs
- identify and research justice issues in her area and communicate
them to the Networker.
